Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- availability to work 4 pm to 10 pm on weekdays and weekends
- ability to stand and move for extended periods
- capability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently
- reliable and predictable attendance
- willingness to perform various physical tasks including bending, stooping, and reaching
- ability to follow club policies and procedures
- basic proficiency with point-of-sale technologies
Job Qualifications
- Basic math skills preferred
- prior cashier or sales experience preferred
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- strong customer service orientation
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- commitment to teamwork, honesty, and integrity
Job Duties
- Process member purchases in a courteous and friendly manner
- verify, renew, upgrade, and offer membership products
- scan merchandise accurately through the point-of-sale system
- accept various forms of payment
- provide excellent member service in an efficient and productive manner
- maintain overall cleanliness of the front-line department
- assist members at self-checkout stations
- manage scan and pan lanes
- assist with merchandise promotions and coupon discounts
- ensure cashier productivity expectations are met
- support club policies and procedures
- perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments
- maintain a friendly and positive attitude
- ensure a safe and positive environment for members and team members
