Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to handle cash and operate point-of-sale systems
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 30 pounds
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Regular, predictable, full attendance required
Job Qualifications
- Basic math skills preferred
- Prior cashier or sales experience preferred
Job Duties
- Process member purchases including membership verification, renewal and upgrading
- Scan merchandise accurately and manage point-of-sale transactions
- Accept various forms of payments including cash, check or card
- Provide excellent member service with a friendly and efficient attitude
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the frontline department
- Assist members with self-checkout and technical difficulties
- Follow all club policies, procedures and productivity expectations
