Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in cashier or retail roles helpful
- ability to stand and move frequently on hard surfaces
- ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds and occasionally heavier with assistance
- reliable and punctual attendance
- ability to maintain a positive attitude
- willingness to support club policies and procedures
- eligibility to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Basic math skills preferred
- prior cashier or sales experience preferred
- ability to operate point-of-sale systems
- strong customer service skills
- effective communication and conflict resolution skills
- ability to work as part of a team
- adaptability to a fast-paced retail environment
Job Duties
- Process member purchases courteously and efficiently
- verify, renew, upgrade, and offer membership products
- scan merchandise and ensure accurate purchase totals
- accept various forms of payments including cash and check
- provide excellent member service and resolve concerns
- maintain cleanliness of the frontline area
- assist at self-checkout and scan and pan lanes
- stock merchandise and execute promotional plans
- manage technical difficulties at checkout stations
- adhere to cashier productivity expectations
- follow all club policies and procedures
- perform other assigned duties
- maintain regular and predictable attendance
