Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to operate point-of-sale systems
- effective communication skills
- friendly and positive attitude
- ability to move and stand for long periods
- ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds
- reliable and punctual with regular attendance
- adherence to safety and club policies
Job Qualifications
- basic math skills preferred
- prior cashier or sales experience preferred
Job Duties
- process member purchases courteously and efficiently including verifying renewing and upgrading memberships
- scan merchandise and ensure accurate purchase totals
- accept various payment forms including cash check and charge payments
- provide excellent customer service and resolve member concerns
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-line area
- manage self-checkout and scan and pan lanes assisting members with operations and technical difficulties
- comply with cashier productivity expectations and club policies and procedures
