Job Requirements
- Basic education or equivalent
- Prior cashier or sales experience preferred
- Availability Monday through Thursday 1:00pm to 5:00pm and Saturday 5:00pm to 9:00pm
- Ability to stand and move frequently on hard surfaces
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and assist with heavier items
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work as part of a team and embrace diversity
- Maintain a friendly and positive attitude
- Regular, predictable attendance
- Adherence to company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Basic math skills preferred
- Prior cashier or sales experience preferred
Job Duties
- Process member purchases in a courteous and friendly manner
- Verify, renew, and upgrade membership products
- Scan merchandise accurately using point-of-sale systems
- Accept and process various forms of payment
- Provide efficient and excellent member service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the frontline department
- Assist members with self-checkout stations and technical difficulties
