Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to provide courteous, friendly service to members
- Ability to operate point-of-sale systems
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently
- Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Must maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow club policies and procedures
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and positive environment
Job Qualifications
- Basic math skills preferred
- Prior cashier or sales experience preferred
Job Duties
- Process member purchases including verifying, renewing, upgrading and offering membership products
- Scan merchandise and accept various forms of payment
- Provide excellent and efficient member service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-line department
- Manage self-checkout and scan and pan lanes, assist members with operations and technical difficulties
- Offer all appropriate membership products such as renewal, EASY renewal, loyalty programs and rewards redemption
- Adhere to club policies, procedures and compliance
- Resolve and deescalate member concerns
- Support general club housekeeping as needed
- Maintain cashier productivity expectations
- Perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments as required
- Ensure regular, predictable, full attendance
