Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Capable of handling payments accurately
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move frequently
- Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment preferred
- Regular, predictable full attendance
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Basic math skills preferred
- Prior cashier or sales experience preferred
Job Duties
- Process member purchases in a courteous and friendly manner
- Verify, renew, upgrade, and offer membership products
- Scan merchandise through point-of-sale systems
- Accept various payment forms including cash, check, and charges
- Provide excellent member service efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of the frontline department
- Manage self-checkout and scan and pan lanes assisting members with operations and technical difficulties
- Meet cashier productivity expectations
- Adhere to club policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments as needed
