Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior cashier or sales experience preferred
- ability to stand and move throughout the shift
- capable of lifting up to 30 pounds frequently
- strong customer service skills
- effective communication and interpersonal skills
- able to work in a fast-paced environment
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- basic math skills preferred
- prior cashier or sales experience preferred
Job Duties
- Process member purchases accurately and efficiently
- verify, renew, and upgrade memberships
- offer various membership products including loyalty programs and rewards redemption
- scan merchandise and manage point-of-sale transactions
- accept multiple forms of payment including cash, check, and credit/debit cards
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the frontline area
- assist members at self-checkout stations and manage scan and pan lanes
- handle member concerns professionally and escalate when necessary
- ensure adherence to club policies and standards
- support general club housekeeping and assist in other departments as needed
- meet cashier productivity expectations
- maintain a friendly and positive attitude at all times
