Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or cashier experience is a plus
- Ability to operate POS system
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Ability to handle cash responsibly
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Friendly, helpful attitude with great customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage transactions accurately
- Willingness to learn and explain store programs and promotions
- Retail or cashier experience is a plus but not required
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Duties
- Operate the cash register (POS) accurately and efficiently
- Process returns and exchanges quickly and courteously
- Invite customers to join the Ace Rewards program and explain its benefits
- Count and balance the cash drawer at the start and end of your shift
- Handle customer concerns positively and involve a manager when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
