Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to stand walk and bend for extended periods up to 8-10 hours a day
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds overhead repeatedly
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
- Pass background checks and comply with alcohol sale regulations
- Willingness to participate in training programs
- Must have legal authorization to work in the country
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in customer service or retail setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Team player with a passion for delivering excellent customer service
Job Duties
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently including payment handling and identification verification
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products and services
- Promote and explain loyalty programs to customers
- Bag products and ensure customers have a positive checkout experience
- Participate in product knowledge training particularly related to wine spirits and beer
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of store advertisements promotions and loyalty programs
- Ensure the store complies with safety regulations and laws concerning alcohol sales
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the store environment
- Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other assigned duties
