Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to communicate effectively with members
- ability to work standing for extended periods
- capable of lifting up to 30 pounds frequently
- maintain a friendly and positive attitude
- reliable and punctual attendance
- willingness to follow company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Basic math skills preferred
- prior cashier or sales experience preferred
Job Duties
- Process member purchases in a courteous and friendly manner
- verify, renew, upgrade and offer membership products
- scan merchandise accurately using point-of-sale system
- accept various forms of payment including cash and check
- provide excellent member service efficiently
- maintain cleanliness of the front-line department
- assist members with self-checkout and manage technical difficulties
