Job Qualifications
- basic math skills preferred
- prior cashier or sales experience preferred
Job Duties
- Process member purchases in a courteous and friendly manner
- verify, renew, and upgrade memberships
- offer various membership products including BJ's Loyalty programs
- scan merchandise and ensure accurate inventory counts
- accept multiple forms of payment including cash and check
- maintain cleanliness of the front-line department
- assist members at self-checkout stations and resolve technical difficulties
- follow club policies and procedures
- participate in general club housekeeping
- meet cashier productivity expectations
- work collaboratively with team members to uphold GOLD club standards
- deliver service excellence and deescalate member concerns
- perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments as needed
- maintain regular, predictable, full attendance
