Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting up to 30 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability for regular, predictable full attendance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Commitment to provide friendly and positive member service
Job Qualifications
- Basic math skills preferred
- Prior cashier or sales experience preferred
Job Duties
- Exhibits clear understanding of all BJ's membership options including renewals and loyalty programs
- Offer appropriate membership products such as renewals and rewards redemption
- Provide high level of customer service and check members out timely
- Scan merchandise accurately through point-of-sale system and fill shopping carts
- Collect payments and issue receipts
- Maintain cleanliness of frontline area and assist in club housekeeping
- Manage self-checkout and assist members with technical difficulties
