Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Knowledge of food products and store layout is a plus
- Ability to maintain a friendly and professional demeanor under pressure
Job Duties
- Ensure each guest receives outstanding service by greeting and acknowledging every guest
- Maintain outstanding service standards and solid product knowledge
- Complete all register transactions accurately and uphold the highest cash handling standards
- Keep the register station meticulously organized, clean, and inviting
- Correctly identify weighed products, including Produce and Bulk items
- Use sound judgment when bagging products and ask guests their packing preferences
- Contribute to a positive team environment and assist coworkers as needed
