Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to handle cash and operate point-of-sale systems
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to move frequently on hard surfaces and occasionally bend, reach, pull, or stoop
- Capability to lift objects up to 30 pounds and occasionally with assistance heavier items
- Commitment to work in a team environment embracing diversity
- Must have reliable, predictable attendance
- Ability to maintain a friendly and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies
Job Qualifications
- Basic math skills preferred
- Prior cashier or sales experience preferred
Job Duties
- Process member purchases in a courteous and friendly manner
- Verify, renew, upgrade, and offer various membership products
- Scan merchandise and accept multiple forms of payments
- Provide excellent member service efficiently and productively
- Maintain overall cleanliness of the frontline department
- Manage self-checkout and scan and pan lanes assisting members with technical difficulties
- Support and comply with club policies, procedures, and compliance
- Ensure a safe and positive environment for members and team
- Deliver service excellence and resolve member concerns
- Achieve cashier productivity targets
- Work collaboratively to maintain club standards and stocking
- Perform other duties as assigned including assisting other departments
- Maintain regular and predictable full attendance
