Job Requirements

Job Duties
- process all forms of payment according to accounting procedures and policies
- comply with hotel control audit standards and cash handling procedures such as blind cash entries
- obtain assigned cash drawer and ensure accuracy of monies against floats
- compute cash drawer at shift end and complete designated cashier reports
- resolve discrepancies and secure the cash drawer
- transport the cash drawer to and from assigned cashier terminal
- set up and organize cashier work terminal with supplies, forms, and designated resource materials
- maintain cleanliness of the cashier work terminal at all times
- complete opening duties including organizing supplies and instruments, ensuring all are operational
- comply with all company safety and security policies and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager
- ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional
- maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
- greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate their service needs, and thank guests sincerely
- communicate clearly and professionally with others, answer telephones using appropriate protocols
- foster positive working relationships and support team objectives
- ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards
- enter and locate job-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems
- stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods
- move, lift, carry, push, drag, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less
- perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
