Job Duties
- Records sales transactions and operates cash registers to process payments from customers
- counts money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct
- answers customers' questions and provides information on policies, products, and promotions
- resolves customer complaints and notifies supervisors or managers when necessary
- maintains clean and orderly areas and assists with stocking as needed
- balances cash drawers and prepares daily cash reports
