Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- six months of cashier experience preferred
- basic knowledge of cash handling procedures
- familiarity with currency and negotiability requirements
- able to operate a cash register
- knowledge of business mathematics
- knowledge of routine office procedures
- able to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs
- ability to pass National Agency Check and Inquiries
- direct deposit of pay mandatory

- must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Job Duties
- Collects and issues money bags, cash funds, and sub-custody receipts from sales associates/cashiers
- maintains log records of movement of money bags and cash funds issued
- prepares bank deposits of cash receipts and makes change funds for cash registers
- cashes payroll checks, personal checks, government checks, travelers checks, and money orders for authorized patrons, assuring proper identification
- checks names against "bad check" list and/or social security number before processing payment of personal checks
- receives, counts, and verifies monies received with daily cash reports for accuracy
- prepares coversheets by register, amount and register number with Daily Cash Report as required
- operates package machines in connection with counting and wrapping coins and currency for change machines
- maintains appropriate logs as necessary
- replenishes condiments
- assists with setting up the dining room and counter
- assists with breaking down the dining room and counter
- provides world class customer service with an emphasis on courtesy
- assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner
- takes action to solve problems quickly
- alerts higher-level supervisor or proper point of contact when problems arise
- adheres to safety regulations and standards
- promptly reports any workplace hazards, injury, occupational illness, or property damage
- adheres to established standards supporting EEO principles and prevention of sexual harassment
- performs other related duties as assigned
