Loveland Living Planet Aquarium (LLPA) is a premier aquatic facility located in Draper, Utah, dedicated to providing immersive learning experiences across all ages and interest levels. Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have previous customer service experience
- Possess basic math and counting skills
- Willingness to accept change and new procedures
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and meet schedules
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- TEAM/TiPS Certification and ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification will be provided if needed
Job Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Previous customer service experience
- Previous cash handling experience preferred
- TEAM/TiPS Certification required - will be trained and certified upon hire as needed
- ServSafe or Food Safety Certification equivalent required - will be trained and certified upon hire as needed
- Basic math and counting skills
- Exhibit and practice the highest level of guest satisfaction skills
- Willingness to accept change and new procedures
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, meet production/service time schedules, and adapt to unforeseen changes
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Job Duties
- Accurately operate a register/point of sale (POS) and handle cash, credit card and other digital transactions
- Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs
- Count, organize and balance a cash drawer, fill out cashier slip and make deposits as required
- Adhere to Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures
- Understand and be knowledgeable of the merchandise for sale to assist customers and accurately process transactions
- Assist in setting up, maintaining and tearing-down a concession stand including cleaning, dishes, food prep
- Complete opening and closing procedures as assigned based on operating hours
- Always maintain a clean and sanitary work environment during service and at shift end
- Ensure product at assigned location is stocked to appropriate levels and replenish items as needed
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Adhere to all alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines including checking patron's valid ID
- Maintain excellent, friendly, and efficient customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, and co-workers
- Ensure security of company assets
- Accept constructive feedback and communicate ideas and concerns to leadership
