- skills in handling customer concerns, requests, and complaints
- experience operating a cash register and similar equipment
- ability to communicate effectively with staff, students and the public
- ability to count currency and make change accurately
- follow oral and written instructions
- experience with maintaining accurate records
Job Duties
- perform point of sale transactions at designated cashier stations
- complete deposits and appropriate paperwork
- follow University of Iowa Health Care Department of Food and Nutrition Services cash handling procedures
- complete assigned cleaning duties
