Job Requirements
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Availability to work mornings, middays, and evenings including weekends
- Willingness to complete additional online application questionnaires
- Ability to follow local health department regulations
- Physical capability to maintain cleanliness and organize work areas
- Experience in restaurant industry preferred
- Ability to handle money accurately and securely
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in cashier or host role is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety and health regulations is beneficial
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic math skills for handling payments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
Job Duties
- Greets guests as they enter the restaurant and offers a personal invitation to return as they leave
- Offers assistance to guests who need help
- Processes Golden Corral On the Go To-Go orders
- Answers phone calls in a friendly and courteous manner
- Handles payments accurately
- Maintains organization and cleanliness at vestibule and cashier/host station
- Ensures drawer balances with daily paperwork
- Informs manager when cash drawer needs to be secured to reduce risk of robbery
- Helps ensure buffet is set up properly and cleans buffet area
- Follows all local health department laws and cleanliness standards
- Performs duty roster ensuring service and quality standards are met
