Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous customer service experience is a plus
  • basic math skills for handling payments
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • knowledge of food safety and local health regulations is beneficial

Job Duties

  • greet guests as they enter the restaurant and offer a sincere personal invitation to return as guests leave
  • offer assistance to any guests who may need help
  • process Golden Corral On the Go To-Go orders
  • be friendly and courteous on the phone
  • handle payments accurately
  • know and follow position responsibilities as they relate to just-in-time delivery
  • know what is on buffet for the day and have full knowledge of menu and prices
  • maintain organization and cleanliness at the vestibule host cashier station and surrounding areas
  • help ensure the buffet is set up properly and labels are correct
  • clean all buffets and surrounding areas
  • follow local health department laws
  • perform duty roster and ensure cleanliness service and quality standards are met
  • inform the manager when the money in the drawer needs to be taken to the safe to reduce the risk of robbery
  • ensure drawer balances with daily paperwork
