Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience
  • Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
  • Ability to operate POS system
  • Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 75 pounds using proper safety techniques
  • Full time associates must have open availability according to business needs
  • Part time flex associates must be available for minimum two weekend shifts and two weekday shifts with availability on separate weekend days

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role
  • Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
  • Ability to operate POS system
  • Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., using appropriate equipment and safety techniques
  • Ability to work independently and succeed in a team environment
  • Proven ability to exceed sales goals
  • Passionate about creating lasting customer relationships
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and creative problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Consistently keep the store energy lively and upbeat for customers and your teammates
  • Engage multiple clients at the cash wrap and create a positive, lasting impression by offering personalized service
  • Accurately and efficiently perform register/POS transactions, sales, returns, exchanges, etc.
  • Ensure accurate ringing and pricing of merchandise, use appropriate price overrides when necessary
  • Manage all aspects of a customer's expectations, clearly communicating product information, care, maintenance, timeframes and delivery
  • Affirm the client’s purchase and offer additional merchandise suggestions to complement initial selections
  • Ensure client is aware of all promotions that may impact sales
  • Share information and testimonials about product, in-store events and workshops that will enhance the customer experience
  • Maintain visual standards and supplies of the cash wrap area
  • Maximize all of the resources available to get the customer what they want and resolve any issues
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Foster an environment where all associates are treated fairly and with dignity and respect
