Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to operate POS system
- Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods
- Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items up to 75 lbs using appropriate safety techniques
- Full-time associates must have open availability
- Part-time flex associates must be available to work a minimum of two weekend shifts and two weekday shifts
- Weekend availability must be on two separate days
- Compliance with company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role
- Proven ability to exceed sales goals
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to operate POS system
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Passionate about building lasting customer relationships
- Knowledge of product information and sales techniques
Job Duties
- Keep the store energy lively and upbeat for customers and teammates
- Engage multiple clients at the cash wrap and create a positive lasting impression by offering personalized service
- Accurately and efficiently perform register/POS transactions including sales, returns, and exchanges
- Ensure accurate ringing and pricing of merchandise with appropriate price overrides
- Manage customer expectations by clearly communicating product information, care, maintenance, timeframes, and delivery
- Affirm client purchases and offer additional merchandise suggestions to complement selections
- Ensure clients are aware of all promotions that may impact sales
- Share information about products, in-store events, and workshops to enhance the customer experience
- Maintain visual standards and supplies of the cash wrap area
- Maximize resources to meet customer needs and resolve issues
- Perform other duties assigned by management
- Foster an environment of fairness, dignity, and respect among associates
