Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role
- Ability to operate POS system
- Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 pounds, while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
- Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
- Full-time associates must have open availability
- Part-time flex associates must be available for at least two weekend shifts and two weekday shifts
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role
- Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Passionate about creating lasting relationships with customers
- Ability to thrive in both team and independent work environments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experienced in operating POS systems
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Ability to understand customers' personal style and needs
Job Duties
- Keep the store energy lively and upbeat for customers and teammates
- Engage multiple clients at the cash wrap and create a positive, lasting impression by offering personalized service
- Accurately and efficiently perform register/POS transactions, sales, returns, exchanges, etc.
- Ensure accurate ringing and pricing of merchandise, use appropriate price overrides when necessary
- Manage all aspects of a customer's expectations by clearly communicating product information, care, maintenance, timeframes, and delivery
- Affirm the client's purchase and offer additional merchandise suggestions to complement and complete initial selections
- Ensure client is aware of all promotions that may impact sales
- Share information and testimonials about product, in-store events, and workshops that will enhance the customer experience
- Maintain visual standards and supplies of the cash wrap area
- Maximize resources to get customers what they want and resolve any issues
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Foster an environment where all associates are treated fairly and with dignity and respect
