Job Requirements

  • ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • able to be mobile on sales floor for extended periods
  • ability to operate POS system
  • ability to lift and mobilize items up to 75 pounds using safety techniques
  • full-time associates must have open availability
  • part-time flex associates must be available for at least two weekend shifts and two weekday shifts not on the same day

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role
  • proven ability to exceed sales goals
  • passion for creating lasting customer relationships
  • ability to ask insightful questions to understand customer style and needs
  • ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • ability to succeed both independently and in a team environment
  • knowledge of operating a POS system
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Consistently keep the store energy lively and upbeat for customers and teammates
  • engage multiple clients at the cash wrap and create a positive, lasting impression by offering personalized service
  • accurately and efficiently perform register/POS transactions, sales, returns, exchanges, etc.
  • ensure accurate ringing and pricing of merchandise, use appropriate price overrides when necessary to charge the correct, current price of SKUs
  • manage all aspects of a customer's expectations, clearly communicating product information, care, maintenance, timeframes and delivery
  • affirm the client's purchase and offer additional merchandise suggestions to complement and complete initial selections
  • ensure client is aware of all promotions that may impact sales
  • share information and testimonials about product, in-store events and workshops that will enhance the customer experience
  • maintain visual standards and supplies of the cash wrap area
  • maximize all of the resources available to get the customer what they want and resolve any issues
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
  • comply with all Company policies and procedures
  • foster an environment where all associates are treated fairly and with dignity and respect, in accordance with our People-First Philosophy
