Job Requirements
- Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods
- Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 75 pounds safely
- Full-time associates must have open availability
- Part-time flex associates must work minimum two weekend shifts and two weekday shifts
- Weekend availability on two separate days
- Compliance with company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role
- Proven ability to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to operate POS system
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Passion for exceeding sales goals
- Ability to understand customer needs and personal styles
Job Duties
- Keep the store energy lively and upbeat for customers and teammates
- Engage multiple clients at the cash wrap and offer personalized service
- Accurately and efficiently perform register/POS transactions including sales, returns, and exchanges
- Ensure accurate ringing and pricing of merchandise using appropriate price overrides
- Manage customer expectations by communicating product information, care, maintenance, timeframes, and delivery
- Affirm purchases and suggest additional merchandise to complement customer selections
- Ensure clients are aware of promotions impacting sales
- Share information about products, events, and workshops
- Maintain visual standards and supplies of the cash wrap area
- Maximize resources to meet customer needs and resolve issues
- Perform other duties assigned by management
- Foster an environment of fairness, dignity, and respect among associates
