Job Requirements

Minimum age of 18 at time of hiring
Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening process including drug screening and background check
Ability to qualify for a common access card (CAC card)
Ability to stand and move for 6 to 8 hours during the workday
Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Basic compliance with sanitation and safety guidelines
Flexibility to perform assigned duties as required
Physical ability to bend and squat

Job Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age at time of pre-employment screening
Must be willing to participate in the company’s pre-employment screening process including drug screen and background investigation and meeting company standards
Must be able to qualify for a common access card (CAC card)

Job Duties

Performs sales transactions in a timely fashion
Enter all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded
Makes change, accept declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment, issues receipts to customers
Follows standard procedures for issuing cash refunds
Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts
Ensure that cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards
Observes customer purchases on the cafe line and differentiates between standard portions
May also replenish condiments, coffee, other beverages, and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas
May also keep pastry case stocked
Ensures compliance with company standards and inventory and cash control procedures
Ensures compliance with all sanitation, compliance, and safety requirements
Performs other duties as assigned
