Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- High school diploma, GED or comparable experience
- Previous cashiering experience in a high volume, restaurant preferred
- Read, write, speak and understand English
- Basic knowledge of golf to engage with patrons
- Knowledge of food service, handling, storage and sanitation rules
- Familiarity with menu items and ability to answer guest questions
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficient in POS system use and cash handling
- Ability to process cash, charge and comp transactions accurately and quickly
- Availability to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
- Must meet physical appearance standards
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodation
- Able to respond to visual and oral cues
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs
- Able to push or pull 50 lbs
- Able to reach above and below shoulder level
- Able to bend, stoop, and twist
- Able to stand and walk for up to 6 hours
- Able to use hand motions when cleaning
- Able to tolerate cleaning chemicals
- Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise and bright lights
- Able to work in a fast-paced, crowded and noisy environment
- Must maintain a neat, professional, well-groomed appearance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or comparable experience
- Previous cashiering experience in a high volume, restaurant preferred

- Comfortable and proficient with POS terminal systems
- Knowledge of the basics of golf preferred to engage with patrons
- Ability to answer guest questions about menu items and offer recommendations
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must meet physical appearance standards
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs
- Ability to push or pull 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 6 hours
- Must tolerate industry standard cleaning chemicals
- Must tolerate second-hand smoke, noise and bright lights
- Must have strong interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Provides fast, friendly, professional and responsive customer service to snack bar guests and golf course staff
- Engages in friendly conversations with guests whenever possible using the 10/5 rule
- Provides personalized service and uses guest's name whenever possible
- Greets each guest with a warm smile and welcome as they enter the restaurant
- Operates a cash register/POS system, ringing proper amount into the register and giving correct change
- Keeps designated working area clean and organized and assists in maintaining cleanliness of dining room
- Resolves service issues according to service standards
- Recognizes Diamond and Emerald Players and relays information to team and management
- Thanks customers, invites them back, wishes them luck and facilitates ease of return play
- Delivers food items to seated guests tableside when required and follows up within 4 minutes
- Contacts appropriate food and beverage management for customer service issues
- Responsible for bussing, cleaning and setting tables and maintaining cleanliness of interior and exterior areas
- Operates and maintains equipment in accordance with safety procedures
- Completes assigned side work as directed
- Uses suggestive selling to build guest average checks
- Knows all menu items and answers guest questions about food and beverages
- Monitors food products and communicates with culinary staff to ensure quality and freshness
- Maintains clean, sanitized, organized, and presentable food display and work areas
- Stocks paper goods, condiment dispensers, beverages, and food products according to standards
- Assists in other food and beverage outlets as requested
- Promotes current casino events and can direct guests to casino areas
