Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to bend and twist
Ability to stand, walk, or sit for prolonged periods
Experience with POS or cash register helpful
Basic familiarity with adding machines and general office equipment
Ability to work effectively with others and independently under minimal supervision

Job Duties

Offer appropriate customer service
Greet all customers with a smile and hello
Suggest merchandise purchases to all customers
Learn and operate the cash register and additional required equipment with accuracy
Price, stock, and face merchandise including gondolas, shelving, counters, walk-in coolers, upright coolers, and storage areas
Manage product storage, maintenance, and rotation to avoid damage or spoilage
Maintain store cleanliness in accordance with policies and health regulations including replacing gas nozzles and hoses, changing pump filters, sweeping parking lots, picking up trash, emptying trash cans, cleaning restrooms and floors
Follow all security and safety policies and procedures
Account for all shift and daily transactions
Present a neat and clean appearance and wear required dress code
Perform other duties as assigned by Store or District Manager
