Job Requirements
- no prior experience necessary willing to train
- ability to work a full-time schedule including weekends and evenings
- legal authorization to work in the united states
- ability to perform essential cashier duties including handling cash and transactions
- ability to maintain sanitation and safety standards
- basic proficiency with cash registers or point of sale systems preferred
- ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members

Job Duties
- perform sales transactions in a timely fashion
- enter all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded
- make change accept declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment issue receipts to customers
- follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds
- interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly service-oriented manner
- be responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts ensuring that cash drawer is in compliance with overage shortage standards
- observe customer purchases in the cafe line and differentiate between standard portions
- replenish condiments coffee other beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas
- keep pastry case stocked
- ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures
- ensure compliance with all sanitation ServSafe and safety requirements
- perform other duties as assigned
