Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in front of the house and customer service roles
- ability to perform cashiering duties including cash handling and sales transactions
- availability to work full-time Monday to Friday with varying hours
- compliance with company policies and safety procedures
- ability to maintain sanitation and safety standards in food service environment
- willingness to engage with customers and resolve issues professionally

- ability to handle cash transactions accurately

- basic knowledge of food service and sanitation standards

Job Duties
- Perform sales transactions in a timely fashion
- enter all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded
- make change, accept declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment
- issue receipts to customers
- follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds
- interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- manage all assigned change funds and cash receipts ensuring compliance with overage/shortage standards
- observe customer purchases in the cafe line and differentiate between standard portions
- replenish condiments, coffee, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas
- keep pastry case stocked
- ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures
- ensure compliance with all sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements
- perform other duties as assigned
