- prior cash handling experience
- ability to operate cash register
- basic math skills for making change
- ability to stand for extended periods
- good communication skills
- flexibility to work varied hours on an as-needed basis

- experience operating cash registers or handling cash transactions
- strong customer service skills
- ability to perform clerical and sales duties
- basic food preparation skills
- knowledge of inventory and stock management
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Operate cash register and handle monetary transactions accurately
- reconcile cash receipts after each meal period
- maintain cash handling records according to departmental procedures
- count money and make deposits with supervision
- promote sales by assisting customers and suggesting items
- stock and arrange merchandise and food display areas
- receive and unpack shipments verifying accuracy and inspecting items for damage
- prepare coffee and assemble limited range of salads and sandwiches
