Job Requirements

  • At least one year of experience working as a cashier in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Proficient math skills for handling transactions accurately
  • Must adhere to company policies and health and safety guidelines
  • Ability to use point-of-sale (POS) system effectively
  • Ability to communicate courteously and assist customers
  • Willingness to assist team members with restocking and other duties

  • Proficient math skills to make correct change without errors
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems

Job Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
  • Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system
  • Monitor stock levels of items at the cashier station and inform management of any shortages
  • Maintain a clean and orderly cashier station and ensure all equipment is in good working condition
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines
  • Assist with restocking items and supporting other cafeteria staff as needed
