Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum six months experience in food and nutrition preferably in hospital setting
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, and understand English
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment
- Capable of handling cash and operating computerized cash register
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and use PPE when required
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Completion of Customer Service Training modules
- Understanding of basic dietary principles preferred
- Six months of food and nutrition experience preferably in a hospital setting
- Able to read, write, and understand English with legible handwriting
- Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills
- Ability to operate computerized cash register and handle cash
- Knowledge of basic cash management and customer service standards
- Ability to use cleaning equipment and supplies safely
Job Duties
- Operate computerized cash register and peripheral equipment to process sales accurately
- Handle cash transactions and process charges following established cash handling procedures
- Greet customers warmly and ensure positive interactions using service scripts
- Maintain knowledge of cafeteria products, pricing, and locations to assist customers
- Set up dining room and food service areas, ensuring cleanliness and availability of supplies
- Follow sanitation and personal hygiene standards to maintain a safe food environment
- Count cash drawer and verify sales totals with manager adhering to cash security protocols
