Job Requirements

  • A minimum of 180 days of previous cash handling experience is required
  • Ability to read and recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and communicate effectively with customers
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints with professionalism and courtesy

Job Duties

  • Operate cash registers and other computerized order entry systems efficiently and accurately
  • Ensure the correct handling and reconciliation of cash, including preparing cash reports
  • Maintain efficient customer flow, offering a positive and friendly customer service experience
  • Verify and serve correct food portions in accordance with service standards
  • Keep work areas, including cash registers, beverage stations, and take-out areas, clean and organized
  • Collect and safeguard all charge slips and maintain confidentiality of financial transactions
  • Assist in general maintenance and cleanliness of the department
  • Respond to customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide general information as needed
