Job Requirements
- Basic education equaling 8 grades and a minimum of 14 years of age
- No previous experience is required
- Ability to operate a cash register
- Ability to greet and assist the general public
- Ability to distinguish colors
- Ability to make and receive phone calls
- Ability to sit or stand and be attentive for extended periods of time
Job Qualifications
- Basic education equivalent to eighth grade
- Basic math skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to compute basic math calculations
- Ability to carry out assignments through oral and written instructions
- Ability to read and comprehend City policies and procedures
- Alpha and numeric recognition
Job Duties
- Works at and waits on customers at the revenue areas at the Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead and ensures customers are provided quality service
- Responsible for serving requested product(s) to customers, including food and beverage items, merchandise, admission tickets, and other activities
- Collects fees and enters information and cash or credit card into point-of-sale (POS) system
- Assists with product deliveries, stocking and rotation of product
- Cleans the work area to include mopping, sweeping, dusting and removal of trash
- Maintains a clean and functional work area in accordance with state and city health codes
- Provides general information to visitors and enforces rules
