Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three month(s) related experience and/or training
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers
- Ability to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to use proper phone etiquette
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Ability to operate registers, gates and credit card machines
- Ability to interact courteously and professionally with guests and colleagues
- Availability to work part time on Fridays and Saturdays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three month(s) related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Ability to read and write standard English language
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests immediately while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor
- Address guests using last names when appropriate
- Treat guests and associates with courtesy, respect and dignity
- Maintain accuracy and composure while under pressure
- Use proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Assist guests with directions and all other inquiries
- Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms and/or amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area
- Determine guest charges and process payments via cash, credit, or direct billing
- Accurately categorize tickets for audit purposes
- Collect and reconcile revenue accurately and furnish payment receipts
- Complete accurate and timely shift reports
- Follow all standard operating procedures related to cash banks
- Operate equipment, including registers, gates, and credit card machines
- Obtain information about daily events and rates to be charged
- Complete all tasks in a timely manner as instructed by the Lead Cashier/Account Manager
