Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently
- Reliable transportation and attendance
- Open availability including holidays and weekends
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to maintain personal hygiene and clean appearance

- Familiarity with point of sale systems
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately

Job Duties
- Use proper Flo's telephone etiquette to answer and direct calls
- Demonstrate proper Flo's order taking techniques including asking for all required guest information
- Take guests' orders in person or by phone in a friendly and courteous manner
- Have complete knowledge of the menu and all takeout specials
- Handle point of sale system quickly and efficiently from ringing in orders to accepting payments
- Uphold strict cash handling procedures and be accountable for all transactions daily
- Ensure 100 percent compliance with all company policies and laws including health and safety standards
- Open and/or close the takeout area properly by following checklists
- Execute all prep and portion lists for the day
- Package and organize takeout orders correctly according to Flo's guidelines
- Package orders ensuring hot food is packed with hot food and cold food is packed with cold food while checking order accuracy
- Maintain personal health and sanitation standards
- Maintain a clean uniform and understand that he/she is always on stage
- Reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds
- Work in a standing position for long periods
- Work in a fast-paced and hot environment
- Have regular, reliable and dependable transportation and attendance
- Respond to guest complaints by getting the appropriate management to handle the situation
- Take direction in a positive manner
- Communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing with managers, kitchen and serving staff
