Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to operate POS systems
- Basic math skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle money accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Ability to bend, sit, stand or walk for extended periods
Job Duties
- Performs customer service functions by answering guest questions
- Performs sales transactions in a timely fashion
- Enters all sales into the POS system to ensure purchases are accurately recorded
- Accepts declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment
- Issues receipts to customers
- Follows standard procedures for issuing refunds
- Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Observes customer purchases in the cafe line and differentiates between standard portions
- Replenishes coffee, other beverages, snacks and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas
- Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory
- Ensures compliance with all sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements
- Helps with certain food prep tasks such as dressing a food item based on customer specifications
- Performs other duties as assigned
