Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No prior experience required
- Ability to work flexible hours up to 19.5 hours per week
- Basic math skills to handle cash and make change
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform light physical duties
- Good communication skills
- Must comply with all safety and operational procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to operate cash register and handle cash transactions
- Basic knowledge of safety rules and regulations
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as cleaning and maintaining the station
- Ability to operate automated fuel pumps
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Good interpersonal skills and tact in dealing with the public
Job Duties
- Monitor operation of a fully automated self-service gasoline station equipped with electrically controlled pumps
- Reset pumps remotely following purchase
- Accept cash or credit card payments and make change as necessary
- Operate a cash register and manage a change fund if assigned
- Record gas pump readings at the beginning and end of workshift as appropriate
- Keep work area clean, wash down gas pumps, and observe all fire and safety rules and regulations
- Serve and assist customers with tact, good manners, and courtesy by responding to inquiries and aiding patrons promptly
- Operate government vehicle in connection with performing tasks as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
