Job Requirements
- Complete a background investigation with favorable results
- ability to work shift hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- U.S. citizenship or non-U.S. national residency requirement
- registration for Selective Service for male applicants born after December 31, 1959
- ability to provide REAL ID or authorized identity documents
- direct deposit required
- satisfactorily complete E-Verify check
- meet qualification and eligibility requirements
- ability to work non-appropriated fund position supporting MWR activities
Job Qualifications
- Experience in responsible clerical or office work
- demonstrated ability to perform common arithmetic problems and handle cash transactions
- experience handling cash items and using cash accountability methods
- ability to communicate orally and in writing
- skill in dealing with the public
- experience in food service operations preferred
Job Duties
- Operate the cash register
- ring up sales and process payments
- receive money and make change
- process credit card sales
- clear cash register and turn over cash and documents at end of shift
- conduct daily inventories
- maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work area
- assist in food service duties such as setting up serving line and replenishing beverages
- communicate with kitchen staff regarding buffet line needs
