Job Requirements

  • Previous cash handling experience preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent math aptitude for accurate cash counting and recording
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Exceptional customer relations skills both written and oral for clear communication with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and make independent decisions when necessary
  • Flexibility to work a variable schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
  • High level of integrity responsibility and confidentiality when handling financial transactions
  • Proficiency in using cash registers accounting systems and other relevant software
  • Planning organization and problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Receives and processes cash payments from customers ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Counts and reconciles fees collected ensuring proper documentation and recording
  • Prepares and submits deposits following established procedures and maintaining a secure handling of funds
  • Creates and sends invoices for services rendered maintaining accurate records
  • Records sales transactions accurately and updates the accounts receivable system
  • Conducts cash transactions providing correct change and receipts to customers
  • Endorses checks and enters transactions into the cash register or cash receipt journal/log
  • Monitors cash receipting functions identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues
  • Retrieves and counts cash receipts from the business day ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedures
  • Stores cash securely until deposited and maintains confidentiality of financial information
  • Processes various transactions such as refunds voids and cash drawer reconciliations
  • Submits accounting information through designated systems ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation
  • Collaborates with the Operations Managers to address any cash handling or accounting concerns
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned
