Job Requirements

  • Valid California Food Handler Card
  • Valid RBS Certificate
  • basic working knowledge of cash registers and cash handling procedures
  • sufficient math ability to accurately count and handle money
  • basic working knowledge of concession/cafeteria operations
  • ability to follow directions and perform the work effectively
  • pleasant personality and neat appearance
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to lift up to 25 lbs to the waist

Job Duties

  • Maintains accurate accounting of all cash and inventory at the assigned concession stand
  • performs location worker assignments
  • stands for long periods of time
  • maintains safe working conditions and sanitary work area for employees
  • plans for daily sales flow based on projections
  • plans for peak hour sales and makes change requirements known to the Food & Beverage Manager
  • organizes paperwork including cashier physical inventory stand sheets, meal sheets, spoilage reports, and cash slips
  • verifies the correct item prices according to the menu
  • stocks and restocks products upon delivery to the location
  • monitors proper recording of employees' meals and meal vouchers if applicable
  • maintains accurate cash handling procedures at all times
  • follows all rules and regulations of Food and Beverage operations
  • performs other related duties as assigned by the supervisor
  • maintains a clean, safe working environment
  • complies with transfer and requisition, cash handling, and purchasing policies and procedures
  • must have a valid California Food Handler Card and RBS Certificate
  • performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
