Job Requirements

  • Must have a valid California Food Handler Card
  • Must have a valid Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certificate
  • Must have basic working knowledge of cash registers and cash handling procedures
  • Must have sufficient math ability to accurately count and handle money
  • Must have basic knowledge of concession/cafeteria operations
  • Must be able to follow directions and perform work effectively
  • Must have a pleasant personality and neat appearance
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and employees
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to stand for long periods
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs

Job Duties

  • Maintains accurate accounting of all cash and inventory at the assigned concession stand
  • Performs location worker assignments
  • Stands for long periods of time
  • Maintains safe working conditions and sanitary work area for employees
  • Plans for daily sales flow based on projections
  • Plans for peak hour sales and makes change requirements known to the Food & Beverage Manager
  • Organizes paperwork including cashier physical inventory stand sheets, meal sheets, spoilage reports, and cash slips
  • Verifies the correct item prices according to the menu
  • Stocks and restocks products upon delivery to the location
  • Monitors proper recording of employees' meals and meal vouchers (if applicable)
  • Maintains accurate cash handling procedures at all times
  • Follows all rules and regulations of Food and Beverage operations
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the supervisor
  • Maintains a clean, safe working environment
  • Complies with transfer and requisition, cash handling, and purchasing policies and procedures
  • Must have a valid California Food Handler Card and RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) Certificate
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
