Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to walk, lift up to 40 lbs and climb ladders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Cash handling experience is a plus
- Ability to communicate politely and clearly with customers
- Friendly and positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of retail operations is beneficial
Job Duties
- Project a positive representation of Cole Hardware
- Greet every customer with a smile as they enter the store
- Thank customers by name, when possible, when they are leaving the store
- Follow all register transaction and cash handling procedures
- Clear customer checkout lines quickly and efficiently
- Answer and monitor all phone calls and radio communications promptly, courteously and effectively
- Help customers locate products and navigate the store
- Assist in pricing, stocking, marking and bagging of merchandise
- Ensure checkout and entrance areas remain neat and clean at all times
- Assist with keeping impulse counters stocked and faced
- All other duties as assigned, including training on general product knowledge and in-store services
