Job Duties
- greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products
- provide knowledgeable answers to questions about products, pricing, and availability
- recommend merchandise based on customers' preferences and needs
- handle customer complaints and concerns with patience and professionalism
- maintain a clean and organized store environment to enhance the shopping experience
- operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- scan goods and collect payments from customers
- issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers
- ensure pricing is accurate and promotions are clearly displayed
- resolve customer issues and escalate problems to management as needed
- receive, unpack, and label incoming inventory
- stock shelves and ensure all merchandise is neatly arranged
- monitor inventory levels and communicate low stock situations to management
- conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
- assist in ordering merchandise and maintaining optimal stock levels
