Job Duties

  • greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products
  • provide knowledgeable answers to questions about products, pricing, and availability
  • recommend merchandise based on customers' preferences and needs
  • handle customer complaints and concerns with patience and professionalism
  • maintain a clean and organized store environment to enhance the shopping experience
  • operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
  • scan goods and collect payments from customers
  • issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers
  • ensure pricing is accurate and promotions are clearly displayed
  • resolve customer issues and escalate problems to management as needed
  • receive, unpack, and label incoming inventory
  • stock shelves and ensure all merchandise is neatly arranged
  • monitor inventory levels and communicate low stock situations to management
  • conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
  • assist in ordering merchandise and maintaining optimal stock levels
