Job Requirements
- some high school education
- 0-1 years related work experience
- six months to one year of food service experience
- basic computer skills
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
- ability to stand and move during most of the shift
- willingness to receive influenza vaccination
- ability to follow safety instructions and work under supervision.

- certificate 1 Serve Safe preferred
- 0-1 years of related work experience
- six months to one year of food service experience
- basic familiarity with computers
- ability to navigate basic web-based applications
- ability to follow instructions and procedures
- good communication skills in English
- capability to work in a team

Job Duties
- Plate and portion food according to menu standards
- prepare protein salads, vegetables, fruits, sandwiches
- finish baking frozen convenience food products
- work in grill and pizza areas
- operate cash register in the cafeteria ensuring drawer accuracy
- plan and prioritize catering deliveries
- organize food and equipment for functions
- prepare sandwiches, salads, baked goods as needed
- deliver items to event locations and handle setup and break-down
- communicate catering needs to production and supervisory staff
- maintain sanitary condition of catering equipment
- set up designated stations with proper utensils and plates
- serve food in the cafeteria
- monitor and report menu item supply levels
- break down serving stations after meal service
- restock work areas
- assemble patient meals through Room Service Dining system following special tray procedures
- prepare food items to par levels ahead of peak meal periods.
