Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- One year experience operating a cash register in a food service establishment or equivalent
- Food Handlers Permit accredited by Texas Department of State Health Services or American National Standards Institute
- Proficiency in English language speaking, reading and writing
- Ability to use basic math
- Team player with cooperative skills
- Basic calculator knowledge
- Knowledge to comply with local Food Ordinances
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- One year experience operating a cash register in a food service establishment or equivalent
- Food Handlers Permit from Texas Department of State Health Services or American National Standards Institute
- Effective communication skills in English
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Knowledge of local Food Ordinances
Job Duties
- Promotes a positive work environment and contributes to a dynamic, team-focused work unit
- Responds positively to requests for assistance from customers, employees and visitors, escalating complaints to supervisor/manager as necessary
- Changes and updates the menu boards and maintains stock levels on snack items
- Maintains, cleans and organizes service and equipment areas
- Accurately completes cashier's end of shift report and processes all cash register transactions
- Ensures compliance with safety policies and completes all necessary logs according to procedures
- Contributes ideas towards improving department efficiency and participates in ongoing training and development
