Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • One year experience operating a cash register in a food service establishment or equivalent
  • Food Handlers Permit accredited by Texas Department of State Health Services or American National Standards Institute
  • Proficiency in English language speaking, reading and writing
  • Ability to use basic math
  • Team player with cooperative skills
  • Basic calculator knowledge
  • Knowledge to comply with local Food Ordinances

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Promotes a positive work environment and contributes to a dynamic, team-focused work unit
  • Responds positively to requests for assistance from customers, employees and visitors, escalating complaints to supervisor/manager as necessary
  • Changes and updates the menu boards and maintains stock levels on snack items
  • Maintains, cleans and organizes service and equipment areas
  • Accurately completes cashier's end of shift report and processes all cash register transactions
  • Ensures compliance with safety policies and completes all necessary logs according to procedures
  • Contributes ideas towards improving department efficiency and participates in ongoing training and development
