Job Duties
- Engage customers in friendly conversation while making eye contact and smiling
- proactively offer additional assistance
- thank customers for shopping at Wegmans
- efficiently and accurately scan items and process payments when on register
- properly bag items to ensure products arrive undamaged
- manage traffic flow in self-checkout area
- direct customers to available lanes
- ensure self-checkout lanes are in good working order
- assist customers with system troubleshooting
- maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work space
